March 31, 2009 - Good - No critic could recommend Wanted: Weapons of Fate at full price, but for the cost of a couple of movie tickets or a DVD it's one night's worth of more-than-satisfactory bloodshed, cussing, overt sexual references, and ultraviolence.
March 24, 2009 - Good - Even though the first time through is enjoyable, there's a real lack of content. This is best as a rental, since you can beat Wanted in one sitting.
March 24, 2009 - Mediocre - For its six-hour playthrough, Wanted: Weapons of Fate is at best a competent, fire-and-forget movie game -- not much more nor less.
April 3, 2009 - Mediocre - GRIN clearly has the capacity to go beyond what it does in Wanted, and it's a shame that the game only aspires to be a competent, mildly inventive extension of the film.
April 1, 2009 - Mediocre - Wanted is not such a bad game that fans of the film should avoid it completely, but as a third-person shooter, there are countless titles that are far more worthwhile.
March 25, 2009 - Mediocre - There's undoubtedly some fun to be had in Wanted: Weapons of Fate, but there are so many superior shooters giving you more bang for your buck out there that it's tough to recommend.
March 24, 2009 - Mediocre - Wanted: Weapons of Fate is as dense and nihilistic as the source material, but not nearly as thrilling.
March 30, 2009 - Mediocre - Wanted: Weapons of Fate kind of gets it from both ends. It's a short game, but if it were longer, the excitement of bullet curving would probably wear off. That said, it's got some cool concepts and it compliments the film fairly well. If you can find it for less-than-full price, it's worth checking out.
April 3, 2009 - Mediocre - What we ended up with is a perfectly passable, often enjoyable game, but not something that will be remembered once you've beaten it over the course of a few evenings.
April 7, 2009 - Poor - In the end, the game comes off sort of like a mediocre summer blockbuster that you'd rather rent because it's not worth paying full price for at the theaters. Sure it's good for a few hours of mindless entertainment, but once it's over, chances are you'll never think about it again.
