July 14, 2009 - Excellent - Bottom line, The Bigs 2 is everything a sequel should be, a game that adds to the previous edition while retaining its magic. Unless you despise unrealistic and arcade style sports, we highly recommend it.
July 13, 2009 - Excellent - While we've got a small list of complaints - you get no instant replays, pitches are tough to pick up in Home Run pinball, and the commentary gets repetitive really quickly - they don't really impact the overall awesomeness that is The BIGS 2.

July 7, 2009 - Excellent - General baseball fans will obviously want to pick this one up, but for those of you who are sick of double back-flip dunking or bicycle-kicking soccer balls from midfield, The Bigs 2 may be your refreshing ticket back into the extreme-sports game genre.
July 7, 2009 - Good - Ultimately, The Bigs 2 doesn't have nearly as much punch as its predecessor, and that is unfortunate. What we're left with is an unfocused baseball game that neither excels as an arcade experience nor as a baseball game -- it's only an average player in the bigs.
July 13, 2009 - Good - Baseball is often mundane, and that's no crime, as the sport's quiet stretches bring its pivotal moments into sharper focus. The Bigs 2, conversely, keeps the volume up so high that it occasionally drowns itself out.
July 8, 2009 - Good - Overall, The Bigs 2 is a sound sports game that's been tweaked a bit in some good ways, some unnecessary ways, and some bad ways.
July 7, 2009 - Good - The Bigs 2 is certainly a fun distillation of baseball that gets most of the basics right without bogging you down in statistics and advanced National League lineup strategy. But just like signing Milton Bradley to a long-term contract, you're going to have to learn to deal with defensive adventures, and to put up with the bad in order to get the good.
July 10, 2009 - Good - The reason The Bigs 2 is so much fun is that it encompasses all the over-the-top action that makes arcade baseball games so exciting but keeps the core baseball mechanics intact.
July 14, 2009 - Good - The Bigs 2 is a clear improvement over its predecessor, so if you enjoyed your time spent with the original, you'll want to move this title to the top of your draft order. Considering that it's been two years since the last game, however, most of the changes are not particularly surprising, and there's still substantial room for growth in future installments.
July 7, 2009 - Good - There's no doubt that The Bigs 2 is an improvement over the original with bigger and louder mechanics built into the gameplay that help enhance things on the field. I advise those who enjoyed the first Bigs to head out and pick this one up for another fun trip to the ballpark.
November 2, 2009 - Good - The Bigs 2 is excellent against mates or for a blast online, but its arcade style means it's not best suited to longer game modes.
August 11, 2009 - Mediocre - The question is are there more casual fans that would both A) rather play this game than 2k or The Show and B) are still interested in dropping $60 on any kind of baseball game? Those that do meet those criteria will find a game that tries very hard to make the notion of extreme baseball a fun, compelling experience. At times it is able to do that, but not very often and not for very long.
