February 17, 2009 - Excellent - It's obvious from front to back that the people working on this game knew the legacy they were contending with, and found the guts to finish this project with conviction. This is no mere copycat; this is a proud new addition.
February 16, 2009 - Excellent - While there will no doubt be a small but vociferous core of Third Strike veterans who cry foul over the series' apparent simplification, they will be vastly outnumbered by those players who get to fall in love again with the Street Fighter of their youth: one that's easy to pick up and play, yet near-impossible to master.
February 18, 2009 - Excellent - Even if you haven't touched a fighting game since the 16-bit era, one match of Capcom's new masterpiece will remind you why you spent so many hours at those now long-shuttered arcades.
February 24, 2009 - Excellent - With a wide array of gameplay modes, solid online multiplayer, superb production values, and a balanced character roster, Street Fighter IV excels in every area that a brawler should.
February 17, 2009 - Excellent - So rush to the store, pick up the game and even an arcade stick. The best fighting series on the planet is back.
May 11, 2010 - Excellent - Super Street Fighter IV is more than a basic expansion pack. Yeah, it probably could have been added to Street Fighter IV as downloadable content, but it would change the game, especially for the hardcore, to the point of being too dissimilar. And if being a different, better version of one of the best 2D fighting games ever doesn't warrant your time, I don't know what does.
February 18, 2009 - Excellent - Amazing presentation, intricate and enjoyable fighting gameplay, and long-term appeal with online play make this a must-have. Street Fighter IV is undoubtedly one of the finest examples of the fighting genre in this generation.

February 17, 2009 - Excellent - If you're anything like me, then Street Fighter IV is certainly worth your money, and more significantly, your time.
February 16, 2009 - Excellent - To long-term Street Fighter fans, everything old is new again. To the new players, we simply say welcome to the party. You're going to have a hell of a good time.
February 17, 2009 - Excellent - [Street Fighter IV] refuses to make itself accessible, doling out tough love in place of true tutorials or simplified control schemes, but by proving to be deep and fundamentally enjoyable, the series has once again proven itself worthy of attention.
February 16, 2009 - Excellent - Will it take 20 years for new players to acquire the same bits of knowledge that I have? The good news is that Street Fighter IV is a game so great that playing it for that long doesn't immediately sound out of the question.
February 18, 2009 - Excellent - Street Fighter IV is a fantastic game overall and Capcom should be commended for designing a game that can work on so many levels by appealing to both casual and hardcore players.
February 16, 2009 - Excellent - [Street Fighter IV is] instantly familiar but with enough innovation to interest fighting game fanatics willing to dig a little deeper. Yes it's a conservative effort, a safe bet if you will, but it's still the best 2D fighting game since Marvel vs. Capcom 2.
May 4, 2010 - Good - If you don't own the normal Street Fighter IV game, this game presents better value for money, as it is cheaper, and offers more content. However, you probably don't have the arcade sticks, so to enjoy it properly; you're looking at another $150 or more for peripherals.
