October 30, 2007 - Excellent - There's really not a whole lot to "get" about Guitar Hero, but whatever there is, you absolutely have to get it right. They [Neversoft] "got" Guitar Hero, and they got it good.

November 22, 2007 - Excellent - Despite sharing the exact same innards as Guitar Hero II, Legends of Rock is, in every conceivable way, a better product than its predecessors. It's better presented, better put together, more professional, more complete.

October 29, 2007 - Excellent - In taking the reins from Harmonix, Neversoft has done an admirable job of recreating Guitar Hero's gameplay, and the new guitars, fantastic setlist and challenging note charts push the series forward, even if some players may not be quite ready to rock that hard.

November 26, 2007 - Good - Everything about the title excels, but most of what we have here are improvements that probably already should have been implemented in the last version-better graphics, more customizations of guitars and characters, smoother lag, varied songs and online play.

November 16, 2007 - Good - Guitar Hero III's new songs will keep you coming back, and the cooperative offline mode adds a lot to the experience. But will it be enough to stem the tide of Rock Band? Only time will tell.

October 28, 2007 - Good - Guitar Hero III still warrants your hard-earned cash. It is, after all, a Guitar Hero game, and that alone makes it worth playing.

October 29, 2007 - Good - Guitar Hero III ups the ante with more challenge and new modes, and though not all the new stuff is great, the terrific tracklist and gameplay are sure to hook you in.

October 29, 2007 - Good - It's hard to argue with Guitar Hero III's place in the series canon. By going real with the songs, next-gen with the graphics and online with the gameplay, it leaves the wishlist relatively barren.

October 28, 2007 - Good - Neversoft got it right where it counts, though, and the third entry into the Guitar Hero franchise is just as fun as ever.

November 23, 2007 - Good - Guitar hero 3 should most definitely be praised - for its almost entirely original recording song list, for its attempts to introduce something new into a near perfect formula, and for picking up where Harmonix left off effortlessly.
