June 17, 2009 - Ghostbusters: The Video Game is very likely to provoke positive feelings as a result of ghost extermination activities. It was clearly made by Ghostbusters fans who love the property and wanted to do it justice, and as far as this fan is concerned, they have.

June 28, 2009 - Ghostbusters: The Video Game captures the atmosphere and comedy of the movies well enough to satisfy anybody with even the slightest interest in catching ghosts.

June 12, 2009 - Ghostbusters, despite its faults, is a wonderful journey through one of Hollywood's most beloved franchises, complete with funny dialogue, addictive shooting and buckets of slime.

June 16, 2009 - Ghostbusters The Video Game has some drawbacks, but those sour notes can't spoil a game that, by and large, tickles the funny bone and hits all the notes a Ghostbusters game should.

June 16, 2009 - Ghostbusters is a fun, accessible game, whether you're a fan of the films or not. It's also the best game based on a film franchise since The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay.

June 15, 2009 - Take away the scripting and unforgettable enemies and you're left with a solid physics playground that occasionally threatens to over-use the zap 'em, cap 'em, trap 'em mechanic. But the fact this is Ghostbusters and it's a videogame version of a third movie we may never actually see means it's frankly unmissable.

Good
June 18, 2009 - Ghostbusters does right by its source material, but more importantly, it ensures that the wacky, imaginative world conceived by Dan Akyroyd and Harold Ramis way back when feels at home in a video game. It may stop and start on occasion, but it's got a whole lot of heart.

June 8, 2009 - If you dug the movies, there's no reason that you should be disappointed with Ghostbusters: The Video Game. There are some moments that cause the game to stumble, but you're getting a new tale in the Ghostbusters canon, fun gameplay, a whole bunch of stuff to destroy, and some cool ghosts to scan.

September 2, 2009 - Though it gets much right, there's just too much sloppy combat and too many irritating designs and overused elements for this to be considered truly great, but it's still a huge amount of fun.

November 3, 2009 - If you've been waiting for Ghostbusters 3 or simply a video game that does the classic series justice, Ghostbusters: The Video Game won't disappoint. The attention to detail here shames most other movie-licensed titles and there's plenty of fan service that will please gamers and non-gamers alike.

June 18, 2009 - Ghostbusters: The Video Game is nothing if not enthusiastic for the source material, which will undoubtedly be enough for some to have a good time. It certainly kept me going for a good while, but nostalgia alone couldn't quite carry the whole experience.
