June 25, 2009 - EA Canada has ensured that Fight Night Round 4 offers plenty of fleshed-out features that bridge the long gap between the previous game and this one. Although the refined boxing system might turn off some players with its steep learning curve, it's worth the time investment.

June 25, 2009 - With a hugely accessible but technical control system, visuals so impressive you can see each bead of sweat fly off the fighters and a superb range of well-known pugilists to match up against each other, Fight Night Round 4 is by far the best boxing simulator we've played in years.

June 26, 2009 - If you're into boxing you're going to love Fight Night Round 4. The physics-based fighting is simply brilliant, the career mode will last you an age and the online functionality is solid. If you're not into boxing Round 4 is simple to learn, so you could still become the next Mike Tyson or Muhammad Ali with a little practice.

July 9, 2009 - The superficial nature of Fight Night's single player game modes is overshadowed by excellent presentation values, great multiplayer, and absolutely stellar boxing.

June 25, 2009 - Stepping into Fight Night Round 4's ring is definitely recommended if you have any interest in the sport whatsoever, just be aware that not everyone you come up against will be fighting in the spirit of the Queensbury rules.

June 30, 2009 - Even if boxing as a sport barely piques your interest, this game delivers tension, drama, and punishment to rival the best fighting games out there. If you enjoy a good one-on-one battle, Round 4 definitely deserves your attention.

June 23, 2009 - Some of the things surrounding the boxing in Fight Night Round 4 are kind of annoying, especially if you're planning on primarily playing the game by yourself. But the fighting itself is fantastic and the online feels sharp enough to substitute for local opposition.

June 23, 2009 - At the end of the day Fight Night Round 4 is, to put it plainly, a wonderful boxing game. There are certainly issues to be found in the new Legacy Mode, but it's much closer to what players want from a career mode.
