May 31, 2010 - Poor - From God of War, the spectre of which inevitably hovers over this mythological copycat, to the sublime Bayonetta and even the dumb-but-fun Dante's Inferno, there simply isn't room in the limited confines of the hackandslash genre for a wonky also-ran like this.

July 29, 2010 - Poor - Clash of the Titans is the worst kind of movie game. By looks alone, it could easily be mistaken for an early PS2 game, and the gameplay mechanics are lousy by any system's standard. Even if you loved the movie, there's not a single reason to pick up this game.

August 1, 2010 - Poor - The recent Clash of the Titans film was a mildly entertaining display of special effects. The game contains all of the film's camp but lacks the spectacle of million-dollar CG krakens to help save it. This titan of derivative gameplay doesn't deserve our reverence; it hardly deserves our attention at all.

July 27, 2010 - Poor - It's just too damn long. It clocks in at close to 15 hours, subjecting you to endless hordes of blade fodder, backtracking, and poorly acted and animated cutscenes. Add to this dated audio and visuals, barely registering a notch above PS2 era, and you're left with another film-to-game adaptation destined to line the bottoms of bargain bins.

July 28, 2010 - Poor - Clash of the Titans is a predictable, derivative experience. Your time, money, and energy would be better spent playing one of the many games Clash of the Titans unsuccessfully tries to ape.

July 27, 2010 - Poor - Clash of the Titans is a graceless hack-'n'-slasher which would aspire to be described as vanilla. Its one standout feature - and we use the word standout insomuch that it's semi-successful - is the sub weapon mechanic.

July 28, 2010 - Poor - Clash of the Titans proves that there's still a reason to fear movie tie-ins. The individual elements of the game initially seem passable, but in sum they make up a regressive, repetitive game that only functions as a way to kill your spare minutes through raw attrition. There's nothing epic to see here.

May 28, 2010 - Poor - This was never going to be a classic, but it could have been good fun. It is a pity that having put fighting centre stage and letting the work-experience kid design everything else, the combat mechanism was not given nearly enough attention - resulting in both a tepid spectacle and a frustrating player experience.

July 29, 2010 - Poor - Clash of the Titans is the not only one of the worst license games I've ever been tasked with reviewing, but is also just an awful game in every sense you can think of. It's ugly as sin, has terrible character animations and voice acting, and feels like it should cost next to nothing as opposed to as much as a retail game.

July 29, 2010 - Poor - The most confounding aspect of Clash of the Titans is that WB and Namco Bandai had the gall to release it at full price, which is just begging for the ire of critics and consumers alike. Putting a $60 price tag on this dud is tantamount to Charlotte spinning a web above her beloved pig friend Wilbur reading "Holy Jesus, This Pig Is Delicious," somehow believing the world would be better for the slaughter.

August 13, 2010 - Poor - Clash of the Titans is a poorly made, extremely derivative game that missed its money-making opportunity when it missed the movie's theatrical release date. This is one of the worst movie tie-ins I've ever played, and the $60 price tag is outrageous when the game feels like a budget title at every turn.
