June 5, 2007 - Excellent - [Tomb Raider Anniversary] is a solid, entertaining game with a hell of a lot of gameplay packed in. It may not offer the same degree of wonder you may remember if you were around for the very first game, but it's a damn fine homage -- and a damn fine game in its own right.
August 29, 2007 - Good - Anniversary pairs the old with the new well, creating a good game with just enough issues to hold it back from being truly great.
August 14, 2007 - Good - Crystal Dynamics has done well meshing the nostalgia of the old game with an all new experience - one that's perfect for a long trip in the family car or a lazy afternoon at the house. This Anniversary turns out to be a happy one.
August 14, 2007 - Good - Tomb Raider: Legend did a lot to make Lara Croft feel relevant again, and Tomb Raider: Anniversary is another step in the right direction. Despite being a remake, the experience feels new and fresh. This is the best Tomb Raider game in years, and for the first time in a long time, that actually means something.

August 31, 2007 - Good - Tomb Raider: Anniversary is a cool pick-up for anyone wanting to relive one of gaming's more pivotal releases. While it's a solid enough game, once the feelings of nostalgia wane, you may feel a bit restricted by the game's linearity and the sometimes difficult camera.
August 7, 2007 - Good - You'll be amazed at how Anniversary strikes a fine balance between challenging gameplay and amazing pace. You'll whistle through tunnels and across clearings in no time, dispatching the sort of wildlife that wouldn't look out of place in David Attenborough's take on Jurassic Park, and then you'll come to a stop in front of ancient puzzles which require you to use all of Lara's abilities in order to solve them.
June 7, 2007 - Good - Due to the occasional frame rate dip and the inevitable, constant circle strafing, this re-imagining of Ms. Croft's premier pursuit falls just short of top shelf. But the new control scheme has made it infinitely more playable, and the additions of quick time events and new areas tint it modern, and the grand cave explorer from 1996 is still intact, and still fantastic.
August 16, 2007 - Good - The gameplay is fun and challenging, it looks pretty on the PSP's widescreen at times, and you're getting all the costumes changes, relics and Croft Manor exploits that were seen on the PS2. If you're looking for a solid adventure game, this fits the bill.
October 22, 2007 - Good - Tomb Raider: Anniversary is everything a remake should be. It makes the most of modern technology to bring a classic game world up to date, throws in simple but intuitive controls and doesn't rely on constant fire-fights to bring excitement.
