Newcomers will enjoy the game's simplified inputs, but may grow tired and frustrated when learning strategies for high-level play and advanced combos.

October 7, 2009 - Good - Fate/Unlimited Codes strikes a good balance between accessibility and depth, with straightforward controls that most players will quickly grasp. It also has enough complexity available via combos and move-cancels to reward seasoned fighting game players.

September 4, 2009 - Good - Although Fate/Unlimited Codes is a bit bland looking and doesn't have many gameplay types besides Arcade, Versus and Missions, I definitely think it's worth downloading. Despite its problems, it's a really fun fighting game and works well on Sony's handheld.
