June 21, 2010 - Excellent - Avalanche Studios has broken the movie-game stigma for me by releasing the awesome Toy Story 3. It tells me Disney is heading in the right direction in capturing the magic from their feature films and translating it to the home videogame console.

July 14, 2010 - Good - Toy Story 3 is an awkward and uneven package at first glance, and the perfunctory and annoying movie levels sour the sweetness of Woody's Roundup, but not enough to overwhelm the game's easy charm. With those missteps cast aside, Toy Story 3 is a rare treat that appreciates the fine line between play and playing, and hints at a future where movie tie-ins could actually be something to look forward to.

June 21, 2010 - Good - Despite the problems, Toy Story 3 is a good game on the verge of being a great one with a little more attention. Hopefully the franchise will continue apart from the movies, allowing the developers to create a larger, more diverse toy box mode while keeping the same sense of playfulness.

June 15, 2010 - Good - Control issues lead to a number of unavoidable deaths, but the forgiving checkpoint ensures that you won't have to backtrack much if you end up in a bottomless pit. Toy Story 3 has a lot of content and provides a good time for players eager to spend a few more hours with Woody and Buzz.

June 24, 2010 - Good - Toy Story isn't just a game for kids; fans of the trilogy should have no reservations about picking this one up.

July 16, 2010 - Good - Toy Story 3 is not without its charm and enjoyable moments. Still, you can't help but feel frustrated with a game that has so many good ideas, but executes most of them so poorly. With a bit more thought it could have been much, much better.

June 23, 2010 - Good - Toy Story 3 is an example of how to do a license right. With great cooperative play, a short, fun story mode, and an inventive new Toy Box mode, this is one game that's easy to recommend to anyone who games with family.

July 15, 2010 - Good - Ultimately, asking yourself the question 'Is it even possible to make a better Toy Story game aimed at kids?' will furnish you with the true magnitude of just how far ahead of the curve Toy Story 3 truly is. As good as kids games get.

August 11, 2010 - Good - If you crave the escapism that a Pixar film can offer, being able to retreat to your 10 year old self where life was a much simpler affair - this is perfect. And of course if you're a parent, finally another game for the collection that you'll be as happy to play as your children are also.

August 18, 2010 - Good - Everything is competently implemented without excelling in any individual direction, but the combination and sheer variety of content and fan service has to be commended, and for once it's nice to play through a kids game that doesn't just shoehorn the cinematic action sequences into an average procession of linear levels.

July 15, 2010 - Good - Toy Story 3 isn't a title that's going to have huge appeal to hardcore gamers, but it's one of a rare breed of kids games that can genuinely be enjoyed by everyone, much like the movie it's based on.

July 2, 2010 - Good - Toy Story 3: The Video Game is a very interesting title. On one hand, the Story mode tries its best to deviate from the movie for a bit, and while it works, it barely raises the game beyond a decent rating. On the other hand, the open-world nature of the Toy Box feels so refreshing and fun that one wishes it were the entire focus of the game.
