November 5, 2008 - Overall, multiplayer is the satisfying other half to a formidable package, and Resistance 2 is precisely the sort of exclusive game that the PS3 needs.

November 5, 2008 - All in all, Resistance 2 is a major improvement over the original in every way. It is an awesome experience of seeing a team of developers at the top of their game and pulling out all the stops. There's something magnificent in the campaign's execution, a wholesale devotion to having a lot of fun.

November 3, 2008 - There's still room for a few surprises, but right now, there aren't many shooters this year that can stand up to Resistance 2.

November 4, 2008 - R2 isn't the perfect game: the Campaign is too short, the story too confused and the action too derivative. But there's so much done right, so many ideas that have clarity and have been followed through, and so much to stand in awe of, that Resistance 2 is surely a must-buy for anyone with a PS3.

November 6, 2008 - Resistance 2 offers more than the first game on all fronts. A better-designed single-player experience, more online mayhem with almost unthinkable amounts of player support, and a unique co-op mode make it easy to recommend.

October 28, 2008 - Resistance 2 is one of those games that manages to expand on its predecessor in every way. The single player is epic in scope and in story, which is practically worth the price of admission by itself. Then you throw in the extremely engaging co-op and competitive play, which expands on replayability in just about every way possible.

October 30, 2008 - Overall, Resistance 2 is an extremely well-assembled FPS, with an improved campaign, fun competitive multiplayer, and a damn neat take on co-op. I wouldn't go as far as to say this is the definitive PS3 game, but it's certainly one of the best PS3 exclusives I've played.

November 4, 2008 - Because of the multiplayer modes, as well as the enjoyable single player campaign, Resistance 2 is best described as a great first person shooter and a worthy sequel.

November 9, 2008 - This game does not stand out for its single-player content, but those interested in sinking hours and hours into a unique and rewarding multiplayer shooter experience will find Resistance 2 well worth their money.

November 10, 2008 - If you own a PS3 then there's no doubt that you should pick up Resistance 2. It's a solid FPS, with moments of brilliance and some top notch multiplayer modes. It isn't the system seller it could have been though.
