Critic Reviews
The following reviews are used to calculate the overall reception for this game. All applicable scores are converted to our simplified rating system based on the specifics offered by each publication or the tone of each review. You can read more about how we do this here.
February 12, 2008 - Mediocre - Flaws and all, Jackass plays well enough, and if you're fan of the TV series, you're bound to at least get some enjoyment out of the game.
October 3, 2007 - Mediocre - For those with a strong will and a desire to play the roughest game of rock-paper-scissors on the planet, rent to your heart's content. Remember not to try this stuff in real life -- especially the elephant poo.
October 3, 2007 - Mediocre - Despite feeling a little irrelevant in 2007, Jackass: The Game does a decent job of capturing the feel of the show.
September 21, 2007 - Mediocre - Jackass: The Game can be fun for a bit, but mostly because the content of the stunts is funny. Actually playing them isn't as exciting as simply seeing what happens next, which is unfortunate.
October 11, 2007 - Poor - Like the show itself, Jackass: The Game is something best experienced when extremely drunk, extremely bored, or, ideally, both. But don't go getting the idea that you'll enjoy it with friends.
October 17, 2007 - Poor - Though on the surface Jackass looks like it has strong replay value, the content is as shallow as Steve-O's take on world peace.
Paul Ryan
September 27, 2007 - Poor - The game - or string of small games connected only through common characters - is only worth dabbling in for the humor and bourgeois rock and roll attitude of it all.
