March 2, 2010 - Excellent - SupCom 2 is a great game struggling to find the right format. Skirmish is as close as it gets: it's enormous fun despite the toothless AI, particularly if you play with a friend and stack the bots against you.
March 2, 2010 - Good - After years of making games that were the epitome of the generic, Gas Powered Games got wonderfully creative. First Demigod, and now this? Here, at last, the developer proves they can do things differently or they can do things conventionally, and they can do both of them very well.
Jeff Buckland
March 8, 2010 - Good - Supreme Commander 2 is the best game GPG has released in the last couple of years, but for us fans of Chris Taylor's best releases, it's just not quite enough.
April 15, 2010 - Good - The first game, genuinely unprecedented in scale, was over-complicated to all but the most committed generals. In scaling Supreme Commander 2 back from a similarly huge scope, Gas Powered Games has dulled the spectacular impact of its sequel - but has lent it the punch its dad lacked.
March 1, 2010 - Good - The game's made enormous compromises, but it's also brought in a superb sense of mayhem and variety. On the one hand it's a shame that it's going to leave much of its intended fanbase cold, but on the other there's nothing especially wrong with the first game, so stick with that if you don't like the sound of this.

March 10, 2010 - Good - Some ardent fans of the first game might cry "blasphemy" at Gas Powered Games' dramatic changes from the amazing 2007 original, but Supreme Commander 2 is both a great sequel and the best PC RTS game to hit in some time. It's just huge on all fronts, from the number of available units to the size of the battles.

March 2, 2010 - Good - You can have a good time with Supreme Commander 2. It's just not all that different than the enjoyment to be found in any other solid RTS of the last decade.
Nik Hardy
March 11, 2010 - Good - Supreme Commander 2 is a competent RTS game. If you are looking for something to do while all your friends play the StarCraft II beta, then this might be worth your time. But if you are a hard core technical RTS fan looking for an expanded, upgraded, epic Supreme Commander title, I'm sorry, but it's not going to happen.

March 1, 2010 - Good - SC2 improves upon its predecessor by taking the franchise formula and upgrading it in a very tangible way. Most of the issues which hurt the original have been addressed, and the game's immense scale allows for some incredible battles.

March 24, 2010 - Good - SupCom 2 is a great RTS title sure to satisfy gamers who like things on a grand scale. If you like big battles and big robots I can't recommend this game enough. While it may not revolutionize the genre, SupCom 2 still deserves a place on every RTS gamer's shelf.

March 22, 2010 - Good - Make no mistake: Supreme Commander 2 is not the "spiritual successor" to Total Annihilation. It is a humbler game with no illusions about transforming the genre or selling to hundreds of thousands of TA superfans. This humility serves it well since it can focus on the combat and the research and drawing clearer lines between factions and strategies.
March 1, 2010 - Good - This is the kind of game where you glance at the clock and discover that hours have passed and you're still waist-deep in assault bots and antiair turrets. Do yourself a favor and get lost in the fun and flash of it all.
Eric Neigher
March 4, 2010 - Good - SupCom 2 is a generally entertaining RTS, that hits just about all of the gates a successful one should. Unfortunately, it's also nothing more than that. All in all, though, SupCom 2 is a pretty darn fun time... it's probably just not what SupCom fans expected.

March 16, 2010 - Good - I was a big fan of Supreme Commander and its Forged Alliance add-on pack. The sequel is still visually impressive and fun to play, but it's lost the epic feel that made it stand out.

March 3, 2010 - Good - It's a real-time strategy game with a huge amount of depth and a fantastic interface that lets you stay in control of large-scale battles between warring robotic factions. The single-player campaign doesn't offer much in the way of entertainment, but if you're looking at this for the online play, you won't be disappointed.

March 3, 2010 - Good - It doesn't succeed on all fronts and there may be people alienated on the very casual or very hardcore side, but this is an excellent, deep and engaging RTS that will appeal to a wider RTS audience - which the genre needs to thrive.
Joe Robinson
March 15, 2010 - Good - Supreme Commander 2 probably won't appeal to the hardcore audience of the first game. Still, it tries to make itself more appealing to more people, and in this regard we like to think it succeeds.
