June 9, 2010 - Mediocre - There's no getting around the simple fact that Alien Breed: Impact is flatly outpaced by other games in a similar mould. The expansions over the console versions are sensible, but don't provide enough reason for ardent fans to re-buy or replay, while newcomers would be better served by finding other things to keep them occupied. It's not that it's bad, merely dull and out-of-touch.

June 10, 2010 - Mediocre - As an effort in nostalgia, AB: Impact has much to commend it. It's keenly priced, the sound is excellent and the frenetic gameplay and sheer number of onscreen enemies makes for some thrilling rearguard actions in tight, moodily lit corridors. However, as an illustration of what today's PC is capable of, it fails to impress.
