June 10, 2008 - Right now, Age of Conan is a fun game to play -- this summer, it might be ready for the MMO pantheon.

June 20, 2008 - In the next six to twelve months, Age of Conan will live or die on how successfully Funcom can address these issues. Right now, though, the game as it stands is a rough diamond - very good, bordering on great thanks to a regular stream of comprehensive patches from Funcom.

May 30, 2008 - You'll find everyone from inspired role-players to hardcore number crunchers, transplants from both WoW and LOTRO, in this game. How long they'll stay is anyone's guess, but it seems like Age of Conan has plenty of room to grow.

August 21, 2008 - Its well-crafted story, great graphics, and challenging gameplay make Age of Conan a great choice for those who have become jaded by the massive juggernaut that is World of Warcraft.

June 2, 2008 - Age of Conan has plenty of room to grow and a number of issues that need fixing, but even now, it offers a rewarding adventure abundant with character and fascinating backstory.

May 30, 2008 - Age of Conan as it stands today is a very enjoyable stew of wild bloodshed, sweaty decadence and the panicked realization that you've just gotten jumped by a group from an enemy guild. Age of Conan going forward should become a delightfully savage second home for plenty of howling on-line barbarians.

June 6, 2008 - When Funcom starts to demand the monthly subscription, AoC becomes harder to recommend. Some fixing and additions would improve Age of Conan, but at its core it lacks the fight and soul to evolve into a truly amazing MMO.

June 20, 2008 - Only time will tell whether or not Funcom can chip away at the glacial foothold Blizzard has in the MMO market, but you can bet on Conan and his motley crew will be hacking and slashing every inch of the way.

June 27, 2008 - Does Conan have the groundwork to eventually become a fantastic game all-around? Sure. Should you start playing right now? Personally, I'd hold off for a few months until more of the game is patched up.
