March 30, 2011 - Mediocre - Though pursuing your sim's dreams and interacting with neighbors provides some entertainment, the predominance of tedious chores and the restriction of choices make this virtual life much less exciting to live.

April 1, 2011 - Mediocre - Certainly not the worst launch game on the system and in many ways an impressive achievement. Unfortunately, the 3D is more of a hindrance, the screens are too small and the actual act of playing is made frustrating by the huge wealth of onscreen clutter needed to produce the big experience in your hand. If you want to play The Sims, there are easier ways; it just wasn't built for such a small device.

April 6, 2011 - Mediocre - In essence, The Sims 3 successfully captures the original game for use on the 3DS, but forgets what made the concept so accessible in the first place.
