RSS is something I wanted to include on the site from the beginning, but I couldn't quite figure out how to make it practical - at least, until now. I've been noticing that a lot people tend to hang out on the home page, constantly refreshing, looking for (and clicking on) the latest updates. I didn't anticipate the site being used in this manner, so I've decided to expand upon it.
As such, the Latest Additions component has been given its
own section, with 5 pages of history. It has also been assigned its own RSS feed, which you can subscribe to by clicking the RSS icon (pictured above) found to the right of the page header. This feed will display the last 20 reviews added to the site. Additionally, every game, publication, and author page has its own feed as well, and they all provide a similar function.
Since this is still an experimental feature, I'm likely going to be tweaking with the settings over the next week or two, and there may be temporary outages when this happens. Also, there are limits on the number of requests that the site will accept from one user. You're free to subscribe to as much as you want, but be sure to span out your RSS reader's requests to avoid getting blocked.
As always, if you run into any bugs or have any other feedback, you can either add a comment here,
send an e-mail, or
message me on Twitter.
